View from Engine Room Alleyway, starboard side looking aft. Bulkhead forming shop, entrance to Dining Saloon and Lang’s Bar all removed for refurbishment. Shot blasting in progress in area of new lower Dining Saloon.

Dining Saloon Servery and bulkhead to Galley removed. Bulkhead between Galley and Steering Flat partially removed on Starboard side to allow installation of new stepped bulkhead. Shot blasting in progress in Aft Peak.

Engine Room completely stripped to allow shot blasting. All pumps, ancillary equipment and running gear removed. Slides wrapped in protective canvas sheeting.

Lower Engine Room viewed from starboard side looking aft.

Lower Engine Room viewed from port side looking aft. Condenser will be lifted up to allow access for shot blasting the hull below. Note all exposed ports in Engine have been covered to protect during blasting.
